Cherry kernel oil, cold pressed, unrefined.
Aromatic cherry kernel oil consists mainly of mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids. It is a treasury of antioxidants such as vitamin E (in the form of α, δ, γ-tocopherols), A, B17 and flavonoids. This valuable oil supports the cardiovascular system and strengthens the immune system.
An interesting fact is that it is also attributed to the content of α-eleostearic acid, which belongs to the trienes of linolenic acid.
The group of these fatty acids:
- has the property of inhibiting the growth of cancer cells,
- influences the sensitivity of tissues to insulin and lipid metabolism,
- increases antioxidant effect of α-tocopherol.
The presence of naturally occurring vitamin B17 in the seeds puts cherry seed oil, along with apricot kernel oil and hemp oil, in one line on the frontline of the fight against cancer.
In cooking, it should be used cold.
Cherry kernel oil also works well as a natural cosmetic. It has a light texture and is easily absorbed restoring radiance and elasticity to the skin. It has a delicate, slightly marzipan-like, pleasant fragrance. Fantastically softens and firms the skin, eliminates keratoses. The antioxidant vitamin E helps fight time, nourishes, strengthens blood vessels and protects against UV rays.
It is recommended for: acne-prone skin and skin prone to irritation - it soothes, calms and supports the healing process of the skin. mature skin, because it supports the production of collagen and firms which helps reduce wrinkles.
