DESCRIPTION OF THE AILMENT:

The oral cavity, by virtue of its function and contact with the external environment, is particularly exposed to factors that cause inflammation. The most common factors causing oral inflammation include tooth decay, fungal infections (aphthous), and mechanical trauma caused, for example, by ill-fitting dentures. Advanced tooth decay can cause gingivitis. A common cause of inflammation of the throat is infections. In the case of bacterial infections, the mucous membrane of the throat is heavily bloodied and the throat is red. Regardless of the cause, inflammation of the mouth and throat usually manifests as localized or more diffuse pain, redness and swelling.

1 sachet of 2.0 g contains: Thyme herb (Thymi herba) 1.0 g; Sage leaf (Salviae folium) 0.5 g; Peppermint leaf (Menthae pip. folium) 0.5 g.

USES:

Traditionally as a disinfectant in acute and chronic inflammation of the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat and in gingivitis.
