This exotic smoothie is rich in many nutrients, including vitamin A, C, E, K, B vitamins, magnesium, potassium and much fibre. Banana can lower blood pressure due to the presence of potassium. Consumption of mango helps reduce insulin resistance and improves glucose tolerance. Turmeric, due to the presence of curcumin, is a powerful antioxidant and has been shown to have brain-enhancing and anti-cancer properties.

Method of preparation

Pour the mixture into 180 ml of cold water or plant milk and mix thoroughly. The mixture is also great as an addition to oatmeal or vegetable protein, blended into a post-workout shake.
