DESCRIPTION OF THE AILMENT:

Constipation is one of the most common disorders of the digestive system. METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:

orally (as an infusion)

INGREDIENTS:

1 sachet of 1.4 g contains: buckthorn bark (Frangulae cortex) 0.280 g; seneschia leaf (Sennae folium) 0.140 g; caraway fruit (Carvi fructus) 0.490 g; elderberry fruit (Sambuci fructus) 0.252 g; peppermint leaf (Menthae piperitae folium) 0.238 g; 1 sachet of 1.4 g contains 19.6 - 29.4 mg of anthrapoids, calculated as glucophrangulin A.

USES:

An infusion of the mixture is used as a laxative in constipation.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Hypersensitivity to buckthorn, senescence or any component of the product. Obstruction, narrowing or atony of the intestines, inflammatory diseases of the colon (Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis), appendicitis, abdominal pain of unknown origin, renal failure, menstrual bleeding, dehydration of the body and electrolyte disorders (mainly hypokalemia). Do not use in children under 12 years of age.
