Description
Sylimarol 70 mg The drug is used in recovery from toxic-metabolic liver damage caused, among other things, by toxic agents (e.g. alcohol, pesticides) and after eating hard-to-digest foods. Supportively in functional disorders and chronic inflammation of the liver.
Composition
1 tablet contains:
active substances: Sylibi mariani fructus extractum DER20-34:1; extractant: methanol 90%;
excipient: sodium benzoate
excipients: potato starch, glucose, sucrose, magnesium stearate, talc, gum arabic, mixture of white beeswax and Carnuba wax.
Dosage
Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 3 times a day 1 tablet after eating unless otherwise instructed by a doctor.
The product requires systematic use from a 4-week period in cases of poisoning to a 6-month treatment in chronic cases.
After consultation with a doctor and after more serious poisonings, the dosage can be increased to 5 tablets per day.
The minimum daily dose is 200mg while the maximum is 400mg.
Action
Silymarin stabilizes the membranes of liver cells that protect against the harmful effects of toxic substances.
Indications
States of convalescence after toxic-metabolic damage to the liver caused, among other things, by toxic agents and after the consumption of hard-to-digest foods.
Supportively in functional disorders and chronic inflammation of the liver.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients or hypersensitivity to plants of the Compositae family.
Side effects
Not reported. However, there is a possibility of a mild laxative effect.

Special care should be taken:
If symptoms of jaundice (yellowing of the skin, yellow tinting of the whites of the eyes) occur, consult a doctor. The drug is not suitable for the treatment of acute poisoning.
Use in children:
