Allegra - 120 mg film-coated tablets, anti-allergy medication, 10 pcs.

Allegra is a medicinal product for hay fever (accompanied by sneezing, itching, runny nose) with symptoms of red and watery eyes.

Composition:

The active substance is: fexofenadine (fexofenadine hydrochloride).

1 tablet contains 120 mgfexofenadine hydrochloride (Fexofenadini hydrochloridum).

Excipients: Tablet core composition: croscarmellose sodium, pregelatinised maize starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate. Composition of the envelope: hypromellose E-15, hypromellose E-5, povidone K30, titanium dioxide (E 171), colloidal silica anhydrous, macrogol 400, red iron oxide (E 172) and yellow iron oxide (E 172)

Dosage:

Always take this medicine exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.

Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 tablet once daily.

- Take this medicine by mouth, before meals, with a drink of water.

Action:

Allegra has an antihistamine effect, it does not have a sedative effect.

Indications:

Symptomatic treatment of seasonal allergic rhinosinusitis.

Contraindications:

When not to use Allegra:

- in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance (fexofenadine),

- In case of hypersensitivity to the excipients.

Side effects:

Like all medicines, this medicine may cause side effects, although not everyone will experience them.

If you experience swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat and difficulty breathing, stop taking the medicine and see your doctor.

Common side effects (affects 1 to 10 users in 100):

- headache, drowsiness, dizziness,

- nausea.

Uncommon side effects (affects 1 to 10 users in 1000):

- fatigue,

- drowsiness.

Frequency unknown:

- Difficulty falling asleep, sleep disturbances, nightmares / vivid dreams,

- nervousness,

- increased or irregular heart rate,

- rash, pruritus.

Warnings and Precautions:

- Use with caution if patient has: renal impairment, hepatic impairment, history of cardiovascular disease; if patient is elderly.

- Keep out of reach and sight of children.

- Store at temperatures below 25oC.

Use of other drugs:

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all medicines you are currently or recently taking and any medicines you plan to take, including over-the-counter medicines.

Allegra may interact with:

- antacids containing aluminum and magnesium (decrease absorption of the drug) - keep a 2-hour interval between drugs.

Application of the drug with food and drink:

Take the drug before a meal.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:

In case of pregnant or breast-feeding women, consult a doctor before using the drug.

Driving and operating machinery:

Allegra is unlikely to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery.
