Description

Phytolizyna is a paste for oral suspension containing a complex extract of couch grass rhizome, onion hulls, birch leaf, fenugreek seeds, parsley root, goldenrod herb, horsetail herb, lovage root and bird's-foot trefoil herb.

Composition of

Active substance: 100 g of the paste contain Extractum compositum (1:1,3-1,6; ethanol 45°) ex: Agropyri rhizomate 12,5 parts, Allii cepae squama 5,0 parts, Betulae folio 10,0 parts, Foenugraeci semine 15.0 parts, Petroselini radice 17.5 parts, Solidaginis herba 5.0 parts, Equiseti herba 10.0 parts, Levistici radice 10.0 parts, Polygoni avicularis herba 15.0 parts - 67.2 g.

Auxiliary substances: Glycerol 99,5%, Agar, Peppermint oil, Sage oil, Orange oil, Pine oil, Wheat starch, Vanillin, Ethyl parahydroxybenzoate (Nipagin A), Purified water.

5g of the paste (1 teaspoon) contains not less than 0,06% flavonoids calculated as quercetin.

Dosage

Drink 3-4 times a day 1 teaspoon (about 5g) of the paste dissolved in 1/2 glass of warm water.

Effect

Diuretic, flatulent.

Indications

In urinary tract infections and inflammations, in urinary tract stones and kidney sand, prophylactically in kidney stones.

Contraindications

Do not use the drug:

- in renal insufficiency

- in case of heart insufficiency

- allergy to any of the drug components

- in case of hypersensitivity to preparation ingredients

Undesired effects

So far, no undesired effects have been reported. Hypersensitivity to UV radiation must be taken into account.

Warnings and precautions

Phytolysin may intensify the effects of

- oral anticoagulants, including non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs

- hypoglycemic drugs

- lithium salts

- monoamine oxidase inhibitors

- prolongation of the effects of pentobarbital, aminopyrine, and paracetamol

- inhibition of drug absorption in the small intestine

- inhibition of beta-carotene, alpha-tocopherol, and cholesterol absorption
