Qualitative and quantitative composition of active substances:

Composition per 100g:

Tincture of valerian root (Valerianae tinctura) - 100g.

The preparation is a macerate (1:5) with ethanol 70% (v/v) of valerian root.

Content of ethanol 64-68% (v/v)

Indications for use:

Traditional herbal medicinal product for relieving symptoms of nervous tension of slight intensity and facilitating falling asleep.

Dosage and method of administration:

The following dosage regimen is traditionally used in adolescents over 12 years of age, adults and elderly: 1 teaspoon of the product (about 5ml) up to 3 times a day in states of mild nervous tension.

In order to make falling asleep easier, take a single dose (5 ml) 1/2-1 hour before bedtime and, if necessary, 2 doses; in the evening and before going to sleep.

Do not exceed a daily dose of 20ml of liquid (4 teaspoons of 5ml).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to valerian.

Undesirable effects:

Possible occurrence of gastrointestinal disorders (nausea, abdominal cramps). The frequency is not known.
