Indications:

▷ Recommended for a whitening treatment at night for skin with hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone.

▷ For use on areas affected by pigmentation changes such as freckles, age spots, sun spots, acne, post-inflammatory and pregnancy hyperpigmentation (e.g. chloasma).

▷ A highly tolerable serum also for sensitive skin.

Action

▷ Concentrated serum formulation based on a unique composition of 3 acids and biologically active vitamin C has a three-level effect on melanogenesis, inhibiting the formation, reducing and brightening existing hyperpigmentation.

▷ Mandelic acid penetrates deep into the skin, inhibiting tyrosinase activity, which reduces melanin production and unifies its natural distribution in the epidermis.

▷ Salicylic acid reduces the visibility of pigmented lesions by exfoliating the dead stratum corneum.

▷ Citric acid provides a depigmenting effect by brightening the skin surface and evening out uneven skin tone.

▷ Serum does not discolor healthy skin.

▷ Transient redness of the epidermis may occur during use, which is a natural skin response.

Active ingredients

▷ Vitamin E (tocopherol) as an active antioxidant protects collagen fibers from degradation, protecting the skin from the effects of premature aging.

▷ Vitamin C (Sodium Ascorbate, ascorbic acid) seals and makes capillaries more elastic. Stimulates collagen production and protects against free radicals, protecting the skin from premature aging.

▷ Salicylic acid has a keratolytic effect (gently exfoliates the epidermis) and smoothes the skin.

▷ Vitamin PP (vitamin B3, nicotinic acid, niacin) affects water metabolism in the skin, the oxidation process, dilates blood vessels. It has photosensitizing effect. It is used in the treatment of photodermatoses, solar erythema, rosacea and vascular neurosis.

▷ Mandelic acid is an aromatic hydroxy acid obtained from bitter almonds through hydrolysis of the extract. It can also be obtained synthetically. The chemical structure of mandelic acid is similar to that of known and used antibiotics. It is a non-toxic substance. It has a significant cosmetic effect and documented antibacterial activity. Its antibacterial and decolorizing effects have been used in medicine for years to treat such skin problems as acne, photoaging or irregular hyperpigmentation. It has an exfoliating and regenerating effect. It is recommended for use in various skin problems. It is counted among the so-called alpha-hydroxy acids and can be used as an anti-aging ingredient to prevent and reduce signs of aging. Due to its antibacterial properties, it is recommended for acne-prone skin with blackheads and pimples, regulates the production of sebum. Also recommended for use before and after laser treatment.

Directions for use

Apply daily at night to discolored areas of skin. Apply serum to cleansed face, avoiding the eye and lip areas, followed by MELACYD INTENSE night cream and in the morning MELACYD with Flirt SPF 50+ from the Pharmaceris W series.
