Drug Sachol, dental gel with the following effects: anti-inflammatory, analgesic and topical disinfectant.

Composition:

The active substances of the drug are: choline salicylate and cetalkonium chloride. 1 g of gel contains 87.1 mg of choline salicylate and 0.1 mg of cetalkonium chloride.

The other ingredients of the drug are: hydroxyethylcellulose, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, glycerol, aniseed oil, ethanol 96%, purified water.

Dosage:

Always take this medicine exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as directed by your doctor, pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor, pharmacist.

Recommended dose: apply 2 to 3 times a day.

Method of administration: apply a small amount of gel to the affected area, rub in gently for about 2 minutes.

Do not drink or take any food for about half an hour after applying the gel.

After application, the gel persists for several minutes on the surface of the oral mucosa.

Action:

The main component of the drug, choline salicylate, has a topical anti-inflammatory and weak analgesic effect. Cetalkonium chloride enhances the analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects of the drug. Methyl parahydroxybenzoate and propyl parahydroxybenzoate present in the base, in the concentrations contained in the drug, show a disinfectant effect.

Indications:

▪️inflammatory conditions of the oral mucosa,

▪️nguides and ulcers of the oral cavity,

▪️gingivitis,

▪️periodontal diseases.

Contraindications:

When not to use Sachol dental gel:

if you are allergic to choline salicylate, cetalkonium chloride, other salicylates, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Side effects:

Like all medicines, this medicine may cause side effects, although not everyone will experience them. General disorders and conditions of administration: a brief, transient burning sensation may occur.

Warnings and Precautions:

Sachol dental gel contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate and propyl parahydroxybenzoate. The drug may cause allergic reactions (possible late reactions). Store out of sight and reach of children. Store at temperatures below 25°C.

Shelf life after first opening: 2 weeks.

Use of other drugs:

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the medicines you are currently or recently taking and any medicines you plan to take.

Use of the drug with food and drink:

Do not drink or take any food for about half an hour after applying the gel.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, you should consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine. Do not use this medicine during pregnancy or breast-feeding.

Use of the drug in children and adolescents:

Do not use in children under 3 years of age.
